Tributes have been paid to a man who died after he was struck by a car in Fife.
The man, named locally as Paul Little, 42, from Buckhaven, died on the A91 at Old Guardbridge in St Andrews at around 7:15pm on December, 8. None of the occupants from the car required medical treatment.
Tributes poured in for Paul who was described as "one in a million".
One loved one wrote: "Paul, you were one in a million, with a heart of gold."
Another said: "I cannot believe this. R.I.P Paul Little, my thoughts are with your family."
A third added: "R.I.P Paul, I have a lot of good memories from our younger days."
Paul's uncle Alex Little runs a funeral directors and they posted a notice of his death on their Facebook page.
It stated: "It is with heavy hearts that the family announce that Paul has passed away very suddenly following a road traffic accident.
"The family appreciate the messages of concern and sympathy but ask that you allow them some privacy to grieve at this difficult time . Funeral details will follow in due course."
Hundreds of people offered their condolences.
Sergeant Jill Kirkpatrick said: “I am appealing for anyone who was in the area with any information to contact us, in particular, anyone with dash cam equipment is asked to check their footage as it could hold images which could assist in our investigation.”
Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 3011 of 7 December, 2022.
