Matt Hancock rejected advice to Covid test all residents entering English care homes, an investigation based on a leaked trove of more than 100,000 WhatsApps alleges. The Telegraph claims chief medical officer Professor Sir Chris Whitty told the then health secretary in April 2020 there should be testing for 'all going into care homes'.

Ed Balls had come in for criticism from Good Morning Britain viewers as he fronted the show again on Tuesday (February 28). The former Labour MP-turned-presenter was back at the helm of the ITV news programme alongside Susanna Reid when they were joined in the studio by actor Lee Mead.

And speaking to OK!, both Matt, 32, and Marylise, 38, gave some insight into how their exes from the show have reacted to their new relationship.

Matt Murray and Marilyse Corrigan may have signed up to find love on Married at First Sight UK separately, but their love story had unknowingly started before he had even appeared on the show. Speaking about how they first met, Matt, 32, has revealed to OK! that he slid into Marilyse's DMs before his time on the show - which saw him partner up with Gemma Rose. "The night before my first episode was due to air in August, I slid into Marilyse’s DMs with a voice note message on Instagram," he told us.
