Married at First Sight UK star Matt Murray is now happier than ever with his new girlfriend Marilyse Corrigan - but many will recall the star being partnered up with Gemma Rose and Whitney Hughes before finding love eventually. And speaking to OK!, both Matt, 32, and Marylise, 38, gave some insight into how their exes from the show have reacted to their new relationship.
Marilyse, who was married to Strength and Conditioning Coach Franky Spencer, 48, said: "Franky saw on Instagram that we were together and now when we catch up he always asks, 'How’s Matt?' He’s lovely." Matt, however, revealed his ex Gemma, 30, believes that his and Marylise's romance is all pretence. "Gemma was asked what she thinks of our relationship and she was like, 'It’s all for show because they’ve got the same agent.' I’d never do that.
It sounds far too complicated," he shared.The couple then addressed whether they have any regrets from Married at First Sight, with Marylise saying: "I don’t. I’ve got great memories." But Matt on the other hand said: "I definitely do not have great memories from my time on the show.
"The only thing I regret is not leaving the process earlier." Matt and Gemma, 30, at first seemed to be the perfect match, but things soon turned sour as barber Matt was put off by Gemma's overtly sexual remarks on their wedding day and honeymoon. Gemma was left hurt by Matt's rejection as he went on to pursue his feelings for Whitney Hughes - who was married to Duka Cav, 31.

Manori Ravindran Executive Editor of International British media editor Juliana Koranteng, a well-respected freelancer in the U.K. journalism community and the founder of JayKay Media Consultancy, has died. She was 64. The Broadcasting Press Guild, of which Koranteng was a member, confirmed on Wednesday that Koranteng died in February following a short illness. “Juliana regularly attended our lunches and breakfasts – most recently, the Kevin Lygo lunch in December 2022 – and lit them up with her shining presence and well-informed questions,” said the BPG in a statement on Wednesday. BPG chair Grant Tucker added: “We had a lovely catch up at the Christmas lunch in December. She was always such a bright personality at every BPG event I attended. She will be much missed.”
