Fans suspect YouTube ‘deepfaker’ behind great ‘Book of Boba Fett’ CGI

As a result, many of Hollywood’s biggest pandemic-era releases, such as “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” and “Eternals,” weren’t granted access to Chinese movie theaters.

Disney+’s season one finale of Lucasfilm’s The Book of Boba Fett clocked 1.5M U.S. households according to Samba TV from the show’s Wednesday to Sunday run.

The ALLBLK, streaming service for Black TV and film from AMC Networks, announced the world premiere of Beyond Ed Buck, streaming Thursday, February 24.

Jennifer Beals is once again at the center of the pop culture zeitgeist thanks to her many roles in some of TV’s biggest franchises, including the latest spinoff . In the Disney+ original, Beals plays Garsa Fwip, a free and prosperous Twi’lek who runs a local cantina in Mos Espa called the Sanctuary on the planet Tatooine.While the series consists of seven episodes, Beals' time as Garsa came to a surprising end in the penultimate episode, “Chapter 6: From the Desert Comes a Stranger,” which raised the stakes for everyone caught up in an increasingly deadly turf war.

The Star Wars universe is expanding.

Bleecker Street has acquired U.S. rights to the dramatic thriller 892, starring John Boyega (Star Wars franchise) and the late Michael Kenneth Williams (The Wire), which recently made its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in U.S. Dramatic Competition and won its Special Jury Award for Ensemble Cast. The independently-financed distributor is planning a late summer release in theaters nationwide.

LucasArts‘ cancelled Star Wars: 1313 game, showcasing a playable Boba Fett chasing down one of his bounties.The footage of Boba Fett Star Wars: 1313 was released by The Vault (via VGC), to celebrate its sixth anniversary.In the three minute video, Star Wars fans can get a taste of what playing Boba Fett would have been like. In typical Fett fashion, most of this gameplay revolves around chasing down a bounty target.This involves a dramatic rooftop chase in Coruscant that culminates in Boba Fett tackling the man he’s hunting down, seconds before he can fly away.It looked like it could have shaped up to have been an exciting game, but unfortunately for Star Wars fans it was never meant to be.
