Obi-Wan Kenobi Easter eggs you may have missed - Prequel nods and Carrie Fisher link
Disney+ series since it launched on the steaming service over three weeks ago.Since its first episode, eagle-eyed Star Wars fans have noticed many subtle references to other series in the universe, as well as links to the epic film saga. From nods to iconic characters including Padme Amidala and Princess Leia (as played by the late, great Carrie Fisher), to references of toys and famous places from Star Wars, there has been plenty to delight fans throughout the series. As the penultimate episode launches on Disney+, Daily Star takes a look at some of the Obi-Wan Kenobi Easter eggs in the series so far.An iconic Star Wars character is brought back to our screens in Obi-Wan Kenobi, with the story focusing on a 10-year-old Princess Leia. When Princess Leia is kidnapped by the inquisitors, the Organas use a hologram to reach out to Obi-Wan Kenobi and ask for his help - in a clever nod to actress Carrie Fisher's message as an adult Princess Leia in Star Wars Episode V: A New Hope.In Episode VI: Return Of The Jedi, the adult Princess Leia can also be seen wearing a green poncho and has her hair in braids during scenes in the Forest Of Endor. It seems to be a style that Leia liked from a young age, as the 10-year-old princess can also be seen wearing a green poncho and a braid hairstyle in the Obi-Wan Kenobi TV series. One of the moments that has fans talking on social media is the link between Obi-Wan Kenobi and the T-16 toy that Luke Skywalker holds in Episode IV: A New Hope.An adult Luke Skywalker can be seen flying the toy through the air - but fans finally found out where it came from.Obi-Wan Kenobi can be seen leaving the toy for the young Luke Skywalker in the first episode of the series, before Luke's Uncle Owen brings it
