The families of two teenagers killed in a horror lorry crash are "forever thankful" after more than £13,000 has been raised in their memory.
Kyle Marshall, 19, and Jayden McConnell, 17, died at the scene after the Vauxhall Corsa they were passengers in collided with an HGV near Stirling on Sunday afternoon. The 17-year-old driver of the car was airlifted to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he remains in a critical condition. A 17-year-old girl, who was also a passenger, was later released from hospital with minor injuries.
The HGV driver, 29, was uninjured and was later arrested in connection with an alleged road traffic offence.
Devastated pals of the tragic teens have now rallied round their loved ones - with a GoFundMe page raising more than £13,000 within hours.
A message from their families read: "Two young boys lost their lives in this crash, one being one of my own and the other boy being his best friend. Kyle Marshall - 19 and Jayden McConnell - 17.
