Nia Archives has shared a new single, ‘Bad Gyalz’, and announced a day rave.The song is the artist’s first new release since ‘Off Wiv Ya Headz’ back in June, which interpolates A-Trak’s huge version of Yeah Yeah Yeahs‘ ‘Heads Will Roll’.Speaking about the track, Archives said: “I was on ma way to the studio with Clipz listening to Ranking Ann who is one of my fave MCs – period. And then I was just thinking about tha fact that like whenever I go to one of my shows, it’s like 85 per cent women age 18 -25 which is so amazing! And they are all baddies, absolute junglists.

Semisonic have announced their first album in 22 years ‘Little Bit Of Sun’ and shared new single ‘The Rope’.The Minneapolis band, famed for their huge 1998 single ‘Closing Time’ as well as ‘Secret Smile’, formed in 1995 and released three albums before they split in 2001. They reunited 16 years later to play a series of shows to mark the 20th anniversary of their debut album ‘Great Divide’ and released a new EP ‘You’re Not Alone’ in 2020.Now, the band will release their new LP, which includes Jason Isbell and My Morning Jacket‘s Jim James, through Pleasuresonic Recordings on November 3.The trio – Dan Wilson, John Munson and Jacob Slichter – have also shared the video for the first taster from the record, which you can watch below.Wilson previously opened up about how Liam Gallagher indirectly inspired the band to reunite to release new music.“I had this great meeting with Liam,” he said at the time.

The Kills have released dual singles ‘New York’ and ‘LA Hex’, marking their first new music in seven years.The rock duo – consisting of Alison Mosshart and Jamie Hince – have returned with ‘New York’, a dark and heavy track which features The Kills’ signature style with its sticky guitar riff and Mosshart’s iconic croon. ‘LA Hex’ is a brighter tune that includes layered warp trumpets over a glitchy, captivating beat.Both singles have accompanying videos directed by Andrew Theodore Balasia.

The Rose have announced their upcoming 2023 ‘Dawn To Dusk’ US and Canada Tour.The Rose are set to return to North America almost a year after their 2022 ‘Heal Together’ Tour. Their new 2023 ‘Dawn To Dusk’ US and Canada Tour wiill kick off in early October at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco, California.Following which, The Rose will play shows in Seattle, Denver, Columbus, Miami and more, as well as concerts in the Canadian cities of Vancouver and Toronto.In November, the band will play three shows across Texas, in Houston, Grand Prairie and Austin, before wrapping things up with two final show in Phoenix and Inglewood.According to a poster for the concerts, The Rose’s 2023 ‘Dawn To Dusk’ tour will be headed to more countries soon.

The Gaslight Anthem have shared a new single featuring Bruce Springsteen and announced their first album in nine years, ‘History Books’.The New Jersey four-piece are due to release the 10-track record on October 27 via their own label Rich Mahogany Recordings – pre-order/pre-save it here. Following on from 2014’s ‘Get Hurt’, the upcoming collection was first previewed earlier this year with the song ‘Positive Charge’.Today (July 21) sees the arrival of the title track from ‘History Books’, a “heavy-hearted” team-up with fellow New Jersey native Springsteen.Speaking about how the single came about, Gaslight Anthem frontman Brian Fallon explained: “When Bruce Springsteen said I should write a duet for us, I think my head exploded.“It will never get old to me that one of the greatest songwriters in the world, and the voice of one of my heroes will forever be captured in a song I wrote at a small wooden desk, in October, in New Jersey.”Per a press release, the collaboration explores “the power in letting go of what no longer serves you”.

Porno for Pyros have announced their first tour in 25 years in celebration of the 30th anniversary of their self-titled album.Titled ‘Horns, Thorns En Halos’ tour, the 21-city run will kick off on October 8 in Wheatland, California. From there, the band will be making stops all across North America including Las Vegas, Nevada, Chicago, Illinois,  Boston, Massachusetts,  Atlanta, Georgia, Nashville, Tennessee and more.The tour will wrap up on November 20 at Stubb’s Waller Creek Amphitheater in Austin, Texas.
