The two last known people to have been with missing teenager Jay Slater in Tenerife have since flown home to the United Kingdom.
Apprentice bricklayer Jay, from Lancashire, had been partying at the NRG festival before heading to an Airbnb rental north of the island with the two mystery men in the early hours of Monday, June 17. His friend Lucy Mae Law, whom he travelled with to the Canary Island and was staying with just outside Playa de las Americas, said that the men were acquaintances that Jay had met following the three-day festival, the Mirror reports.
The pair, who reportedly didn't attend the festival, had rented a hire car to allow them to drive easily around the island and back to their remote holiday let, located just outside the village of Masca on the side of a mountain in the Rural de Teno national park. It was at this cottage that Jay was last seen, with the landlord, Ofelia Medina Hernandez, saying she had explained to Jay when the next bus was to arrive after he missed it.

Yet he chose to continue on foot, and she described him as "walking alone, and fast". Jay called Lucy shortly before 8am on that fateful Monday morning to say that his phone battery was down to one per cent, and that he had no idea where he was. In interviews since her pal's disappearance, Lucy said: "He's gone on a night out, he's gone to a friend's house, someone that he has met on holiday.
"One of the people he has met has hired a car out of here, so he's driven them back to his apartment and Jay has gone there not realising how far away it is. He's ended up out in the middle of nowhere. Jay was obviously thinking he would be able to get
