The race for this week's UK Number 1 album is going to go right down to the wire.
Enter Shikari and Everything But The Girl are preparing to enter a photo-finish, with both acts battling for their first-ever chart-topper on the Official Albums Chart.
As it stands, and with less than 12 hours left to make your voice heard, Enter Shikari have just edged past Everything But The Girl once again, who were leading the race yesterday.
A Kiss For The Whole World, the seventh album from the Hertfordshire alt-rock quartet, is currently leading the race for Number 1. The gap is very tight though, with less than 400 chart units currently separating Enter Shikari from Fuse, Everything But The Girl's eleventh album, and their first together in 24 years.
There's all to play for in this week's race as both acts are hoping to score their first Number 1 album - so whoever you're backing, you've got until 11.59pm on Thursday 27 April to show your support.
While both groups are yet to claim a UK Number 1 album, they do have an enviable string of previous Top 10 LPs to their name.
Enter Shikari - comprising of Chris Batten, Rou Reynolds, Rob Rolfe and Rory Clewlow, have previously claimed five Top 10 records; 2007 debut Take To The Skies (4), 2012’s A Flash Flood of Colour (4), 2015’s The Mindsweep (6), 2017’s The Spark (5) and their highest-charting LP so far, 2020’s Nothing Is True And Everything Is Possible (2).
While Everything But The Girl - AKA husband and wife duo Ben Watt and Tracey Thorn - claimed four Top 10 LPs in their initial lifespan; 1985’s Love Not Money (10), 1990’s The Language of Love (10) 1993’s greatest hits compilation Home Movies (5) and 1996’s Walking Wounded (6).
