This year's Manchester Christmas Markets have got off to a rousing start - with plenty of festive cheer already filling the city centre.
Kicking off from 10am this morning (November 10), the Christmas Markets feature hundreds of stalls dotted across nine sites - including at Piccadilly Gardens, King Street, Market Street and Exchange Square. Amongst the traders this year include those selling traditional gifts, quirky accessories and other delights.
Fan favourites, like the Bratwurst, Gluhwein, Hot Chocolate and plenty of sweet treats, are all back as well as a host of new traders making their debut this year - which actually marks the 25th anniversary since the stalls were first held here.

With more than 225 stalls to explore from now until December 21, it can be a little bit overwhelming with just so much on offer - especially when you're just after a quick bite. With that in mind, we've rounded up some of our initial favourite foods at the markets, including huge croissants, festive mac and cheese and chocolate-filled lava cakes, and just where you can find them.
Don't forget you can find a map outlining all of the nine sites here, which can help you navigate your way around town easier.
Oi Dumplings, run by couple Mollie Power and Maisie Davies, have been a big hit with diners since they opened their shop from within a tiny cabin in Kirklees, West Yorkshire last year. Returning to the Christmas Markets for a second year now, Mollie and Maisie can be found serving their Vietnamese-inspired dumplings and sides at Piccadilly Gardens this year.
