Emmerdale star Sally Dexter has admitted that she would refuse to leave the ITV soap until her character Faith Dingle repaired her relationship with on-screen son Cain Dingle. Only recently, Faith discovered that her breast cancer had returned and it was incurable with only daughter-in-law Moira Dingle knowing her devastating secret.
In upcoming scenes, Faith is set to reveal that her cancer is back and it's incurable to her family with the fallout from her bombshell beginning... During the scenes, Moira fears ructions when Cain returns from Scotland unexpectedly and discovers Faith in his home, mistaking her chemotherapy side effects for a severe hangover.

Later, Faith asks daughter Chas to make plans for her birthday in a bid to make peace with Cain and she starts to struggle with the idea of dropping her bombshell on her birthday. Moira insists she has a plan to ensure Cain shows up and Faith worries over how her son will react to being tricked into attending the party.
