Dr Manesh Gill, 39, carried out the sex attack on the victim after luring her to a hotel bedroom in Stirling on December 8 in 2018.
A judge told Gill that the woman had described "a distressing and frightening encounter" which lasted for a couple of hours.

Tributes have been paid to a dad-of-two who died after crashing his quad bike into a headstone at a Glasgow graveyard.
The 36-year-old, named locally as Tam Kane, sustained serious injuries after the incident at Lambhill Cemetery on Tresta Road, Glasgow, at around 6am last weekend.
