Emmerdale viewers have been left gripped in recent scenes as Moira Dingle, played by Natalie J Robb, has been forced to sell her beloved farm. Since joining the ITV soap back in 2009, Natalie, 48, has been at the heart of some huge storylines as her character overcomes major hurdles and proves just how much of a hardworking farmer she is.
But recently, Moira's scheming brother-in-law Caleb Milligan persuaded her to give up ownership of the farm, all because he wanted to sell it to Kim Tate in an attempt to keep the evil businesswoman on his side and bleed her dry. We saw how heartbroken Moria was at having to sell her farm, but was ultimately left with no choice after Caleb sabotaged her business.
As we watch the storyline unfold, we can't help but watch in despair as one of our favourite characters is betrayed by her own family. Despite the non-stop emotional rollercoaster of her life on screen, Natalie has a far quieter life away from the Dales...
Rival soap Natalie J Robb who hails from Glasgow, discovered her love of acting at an early age when she enrolled in weekend drama groups and was later discovered by director Alan Macmillan, who is well known for shows including Taggart, The Bill and Casualty. On the back of this, Natalie joined the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama.
When she was just nine years old, Natalie appeared in an STV docu-drama alongside Tom Conti and a few years later at the age of 13 was awarded the BBC's Young Entertainer Of The Year award, on children's TV show Going Live! Following the early success she joined BBC's daytime show Doctors where she played the role of Jude Carlyle for three years.
