Ellie and Vito's three dances saw them awarded a combined score of 115 out of a possible 120.
The pair were actually at the bottom of the leaderboard in the final, with Bobby Brazier and Dianne Buswell having scored 117 while Layton and Nikita scored 119. Layton had an impressive run on the BBC One show, having scored several perfect scores and continued to stun with his dance skills. Judge Craig Revel Horwood even branded his Charleston the "best" the show has ever seen at the semi-final.
