Emmerdale fans think they have spotted a fresh blunder as Laurel Sharma found herself being kidnapped by Colin. Viewers watched her head over to the councillor's house to collect his son, Marshall's, passport as they prepared to leave the village following Rishi Sharma's death
Earlier in Tuesday night's episode (August 8) of the ITV soap, Laurel was feeling guilty about being away from her new husband when she got a text message from Jai explaining that his siblings were pulling focus from their dad's funeral to make it all about themselves.
As Laurel shared her guilt about not being with Jai as he deals with the loss of his father on top of the funeral plans, Nicola King encouraged Laurel to take the next flight in order to join Jai for the funeral the following day and that she'd look after the kids. Grateful, Laurel agreed and started quickly sorting out her trip.

But along the way, Laure was disrutped when she got a text message from her son Arthur's former love interest Marshall asking for her to retrieve his passport from his homophobic father Colin so he could go on holiday abroad with his auntie. Not wanting to let him down, she headed over to Colin's house.
As Laurel asked for Marshall's travel document, the pair ended up sat down talking after previous tense encounters but Colin soon told her the devil was "everywhere, waiting for a weakness". He then accused her of being "steeped in denial" over her son's sexuality, who he blames for Marshall coming out as gay.
Things then started to escalate when Colin said Laurel was "instrumental" in Marshall being taken away from him and declared she was "not going anywhere"
