Emmerdale fans puzzled by baby change and say ‘wait’ as Rhona arrested for kidnap

Emmerdale fans were left perplexed during a major kidnap plot involving Rhona Goskirk, played by Zoe Henry. The worried mum thought she needed to take baby Ivy and flee to Canada, as Ivy's dad Gus grew suspicious of Rhona's sudden disappearance in the episode aired on Monday (February 12).
As Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) and Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick) tried to persuade Rhona to return to the village and give baby Ivy back to her dad, viewers were distracted by another detail. During a heart-wrenching scene where Rhona was crying and promising Ivy they would start a new life together, fans noticed that the baby being filmed was a completely different actor.
Many reckoned the child looked much older than she did in previous episodes, reports OK! Viewers took to X, previously Twitter, to share their confusion over the unexpected change. "This baby has changed so much in just two episodes of #Emmerdale @emmerdale," one person posted.

Another fan said: "Anyone notice baby was changed last night. #Emmerdale". "Have they changed babies? #emmerdale," a third puzzled viewer wondered.
While a fourth said: "WAIT. That baby is sitting up and looks about 6months old tonight. Make it make sense, for once #Emmerdale". "That baby Ivy looks awfully old for a relative newborn? Looks a bit to mobile for her age? #emmerdale," another person commented.
As the episode continued, Rhona finally seemed to come round to Marlon's way of thinking, as he angrily reminded her of their son Leo waiting at home and wondering where his mum had gone. But sadly, it was too late for the vulnerable mum as Gus had already called the police and reported Rhona as kidnapping
