Since Zack and Whitney Dean got together, they have been up and down and had a tough time of it. Not long after they got together, Whitney found out that she was pregnant with Zack's baby.

One week on since revealing that she would be leaving EastEnders, Walford icon Shona McGarty has opened up about the reason to wave goodbye to the soap after 15 years on our screens.The 31 year told star, who is best known for playing Whitney Dean, was revealed to have quit last week, in a move that left fans of the actress devastated at the loss of such a popular character. Keen to explain the reason behind the move, Shona sat down with Inside Soap to share her thoughts on her departure, but not before admitting that it hasn’t been an “easy” decision to leave behind so many of her friends and colleagues on the show.

It seems it's 'once bitten, twice shy' for ex-professional Strictly dancer AJ Pritchard as he confirms that he's done with acting.The 28-year-old joined his big brother Curtis Pritchard, who was also a dancer on Strictly, for a nine episodes on Hollyoaks in 2021 but it seems that once was quite enough for the blonde star.The sibling pair starred as dancer brothers Marco and Jacob but their appearance was marred by criticism from various soap actors who were adamant that casting should be selected based on talent and not social media followers. Former EastEnders actor Michael Greco had plenty to say on the matter and called AJ's acting "shocking", claiming that people could learn "how not to act" by watching the brothers on-screen.

And now she is said to be on "ITV's wishlist" for the upcoming series of Dancing On Ice, which will begin airing early next year. A source told The Sun: "Shona is a great name for Dancing On Ice and she is on ITV’s wish-list.

One Coronation Street legend is reportedly set to return to the cobbles three years after quitting. Lucy Fallon, who played Bethany Platt in the ITV soap, is said to be returning to the show "after Christmas." Lucy, 27, will start filming in the coming months ahead of her on-screen return later in the year, according to The Sun. Jason Aldean addressed criticism he's faced throughout the week following the release of the music video for his latest hit, "Try That in a Small Town." In new videos surfacing on social media, Aldean joked he's had "a long-a-- week."  "It's been a long week, and I've seen a lot of stuff," the country singer said between songs. "I've seen a lot of stuff suggesting I'm this, suggesting I'm that." On Instagram Tuesday, Aldean, 46, rejected the notion that his new tune, which hit airwaves in May and only recently received visuals, referenced "race or points to it."
