Soap fans will recall that Graham, played by Alex McSweeney, befriended and raped Little Mo Slater, played by Kacey Ainsworth, which resulted in her falling pregnant with Freddie, played by Bobby Brazier. In the hard-hitting storyline, Little Mo refused to terminate her pregnancy, which led to the breakdown of her marriage to Billy Mitchell, played by Perry Fenwick.
Graham was jailed for eight years for the rape and was last seen on screen in January 2005 when Billy saw him in prison after receiving a visiting order. During the prison visit, vile Graham taunted Billy about not being Freddie's real father and threatened to visit his son when he is released. And despite not being seen in Albert Square since his prison release, Graham is set to make an explosive return and will apparently reprise his role later this month.
The new storyline will apparently see Freddie discover the truth about his paternity after thinking Billy was his father. Speaking to The Mirror actor Alex, 38, said: "I'm grateful to be asked to reprise the role of Graham as I thought it was important for Freddie to be given some answers about his dad. I thoroughly enjoyed working with the talented Bobby Brazier." OK! has contacted EastEnders for further comment.
