A former EastEnders star has reportedly been arrested on suspicion of an alleged "large-scale" fraud. The actress, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, is said to be the subject of an investigation by the police's specialist anti-organised crime department.The Sun has reported that the suspect in question was held during the early hours of Friday morning after a raid in East London.

Online by Suffolk Police at the time read: "A 50 year-old woman was arrested early on Sunday morning in St Andrew’s Street, Bury St Edmunds, on suspicion of assaulting a police officer/drunk and disorderly conduct and was released without charge after receiving a conditional caution."
