EastEnders star Adam Woodyatt's divorce from wife of 22 years 'finalised'

EastEnders have revealed a tragic storyline is on the way for character Lola Pearce who is set to be diagnosed with a brain tumour.The BBC soap producers have said they are working alongside Brain Tumour Research and Macmillan Cancer Support on the storyline, which will begin this autumn. Viewers will see Lola and her loved ones deal with her diagnosis as the plot follows the experience of Lola and those around her as she deals with the reality of being a young person living with a brain tumour.

Strictly Come Dancing's James Bye has explained how his spray tan for the BBC series will be written into EastEnders. The Martin Fowler actor, 38, is currently competing on the hit dance show with pro partner Amy Dowden. And at the same time as performing on Strictly, James is still just as busy at EastEnders as he continues to film the BBC One soap while rehearsing.

BBC EastEnders actress Clair Norris looked almost unrecognisable compared with her soap character as she glammed up for a night out with her beau. Clair, 24, who plays Bernadette Taylor in the soap, looked far away from her day job in Albert Square where she's usually dressed in baggy clothes, a purple padded jacket and has her brunette hair scraped up in a bun.

The cast of BBC EastEnders enjoyed a big night out as newcomer Bobby Brazier and his co-stars were spotted at Tulley's Shocktober Fest in Crawley. Jeff Brazier and Jade Goody's son, Bobby, 19, brought along his brother Freddie, 18, as they joined his EastEnders co-stars Shane Richie, Max Boden, Jaden Ladega, Dean Gaffney, Jamie Borthwick and Tony Clay at the Halloween themed attraction. Dressed for the Autumn weather, Bobby and Freddie posed for photos both wearing large warm black puffer coats.

Strictly Come Dancing fans went wild on Saturday night as they spotted Lacey Turner in the audience. The Stacey Slater star, 34, was supporting EastEnders co-star James Bye, who performed a Tango to Bad Habits by Ed Sheeran with pro partner Amy Dowden.

EastEnders star Max Bowden has announced the birth of his son, Reginald Buckle, who was born on  19th September. Max, 27, and Roisin, 37, began dating in October last year and announced they were expecting their first child together in April, before their relationship broke down during the pregnancy. Now both Max and Roisin have announced the birthday of their son on Instagram, each posting a black-and-white photo photo of the tot's feet and another of themselves lovingly cradling their newborn.

Letitia, 54, has played the iconic Sharon Watts in the popular BBC One soap on-and-off since the show’s beginning in 1985. BBC EastEnders actress Tilly Keeper (Louise Mitchell) will have a starring role in the upcoming series of Netflix thriller, You. Tilly, 25, posted the new trailer for series four, which dropped this week, on her Instagram together with the caption: "Hello, @younetflix… YOU Season 4 Part 1 premieres February 10, Part 2 premieres March 10 #TUDUM." The ex Albert Square resident who played Phil Mitchell's daughter is putting the Vic far behind her and will play Lady Phoebe, an aristocratic socialite, in the new series of the twisted drama starring Penn Badgley.Tilly joined EastEnders back in 2016 and will feature in the fourth season of the immensely addictive psychological thriller, which is has been filmed in the UK this time as opposed to its usual location in the States - a world away from Albert Square.

EastEnders fans may have just welcomed back Shane Richie’s Alfie Moon, but his return could be short-lived as new photos from from the set show that Alfie has managed to find himself at the wrong end of a gun. Alfie made his return to the square determined to win back ex-wife Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace), despite her engagement to Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden). As the wedding approached, both Kat and Phil had exes confess their love and try to convince against the marriage.

EastEnders legendary character Janine Butcher is set to say farewell to the Square later this year, just 18 months after actress Charlie Brooks returned to Walford. Charlie, 41, reprised her role as the soap's love to hate character in September last year after a seven year hiatus and has announced that her time as Janine has come to an end - for now! “I was only ever due back to EastEnders for a year, but when [exec producer] Chris Clenshaw presented me with his idea for the story, I couldn’t say no to staying a little longer," she told The Sun on Sunday.

EastEnders bosses shelved their plans for their controversial storyline that would have seen Dot Cotton's association with Walford come to an end. June Brown, who played Dot for more than 30 years, died at the age of 95 back in April.The actress played Dot from 1985 - the year the soap started - all the way to 2020, but now her on-screen granddaughter Dotty is the only person left from her family tree remaining on Albert Square.

EastEnders fans were left in tears on Thursday's episode as Strictly Come Dancing champion Rose Ayling-Ellis made her BBC One soap exit as Frankie Lewis. It was announced in August that Rose, 27, who won Strictly in 2021 with Giovanni Pernice, would be leaving Albert Square as Frankie after first joining in 2020. Alfie returned last week as Kat Slater, played by Jessie Wallace, and Phil Mitchell, played by Steve McFadden, prepared to tie the knot, declaring his love for his ex as he vowed to win her back.
