EastEnders fans reckon they've figured out Stevie Mitchell's secret - and it doesn't bode well for his son Billy. Alan Ford, who plays the character, arrived in Walford earlier this year. As Billy's (Perry Fenwick) long-lost father, Stevie first graced our screens in January at Aunt Sal's (Anna Karen) funeral.
However, Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) warned him to keep his distance after he had given up Billy to care as a child. From the tender age of ten, Billy was raised in care after Stevie took full custody of his brother Charlie.
The two haven't seen each other for over 25 years. Fast forward to the present day, and Stevie made another surprise appearance - leaving the Mitchell family shocked.
However, this week on the soap, it was revealed that Stevie has a secret family, reports the Daily Star. His son Teddy and grandsons Harry and Barney arrived in Walford after Stevie ended up in hospital, having been hit by his grandson Will (Freddie Phillips). In Thursday's episode (June 27), Stevie received a visit from Teddy, Harry, and Barney.
After seeing Will chatting with Stevie, Teddy was determined to uncover the truth. He and his sons went to Walford to dig deeper. And during a tense confrontation in the Queen Vic, Stevie spilled the beans: Billy and Teddy are half-brothers.
In Friday's episode (June 28), which is already available on BBC iPlayer, the entire family went over to Phil's house to discuss the situation. While at the gathering, Stevie revealed that he had a brief romantic encounter with Teddy's mum back in the day. Billy eventually extended an olive branch to Teddy and they reconciled - much to Stevie's joy.
