Some EastEnders fans believe they have 'worked out' who the Christmas victim could be after BBC bosses teased a bombshell storyline set to drop this festive season.
A new trailer involving Stacey Slater has given viewers a huge hint.
Back in February Denise (Diane Parish), Kathy (Gillian Taylforth), Linda (Kellie Bright), Sharon (Letitia Dean), Stacey (Lacey Turner) and Suki (Balvinder Sopal) stood around an unknown male body in a flashforward scene as Sharon declared them dead.
But what BBC fans are waiting to know is what brought all six women there and if they had anything to do with the death of the male victim or if it was accidental.
On Monday night, the Mirror reported the debut of a new trailer which shows Stacey Slater trapped by her stalker Theo Hawthorne. Is there a connection to the Christmas incident? and how did things end with them both?
After the short trailer dropping, many fans are now convinced they have worked out how things will play out later this year.
One person wrote: "OMG I have a lot of questions the main one being … What’s with the fire?? Dose this mean Theo or Stacey starts the fire or is trapped in the fire? Or just that whoever the body is starts the fire? #Eastenders #TheSix."
A second added: "Oh. My. Days!! So this implies the Theo thing will be far from over... Wasn't #LaceyTurner brilliant tonight?!," as a third quipped: "Maybe (just a theory but…) tomorrow Theo leaves and comes back maybe Christmas Eve and then we see him enter the Vic to see Stacey then she kills him."
Commenting on the trailer, another person wrote: "But the question still remains…..the body on the floor with the cufflinks….the same cufflinks that Nish Panesar put on the table at the game of poker with Rocky when rocky
