After weeks of uncertainty, Linda Carter finally put her plan to frame Dean Wicks for Keanu Taylor’s murder into motion on Thursday’s visit to EastEnders (11 April) when she headed to the police station to give a statement which implicated him in the grisly crime. While questioned by detectives, Linda told the police that she had seen Dean dragging a heavy object wrapped in tarpaulin into the cafe on the night of the murder before poignantly revealing why she had waited so long to come forward with the ‘information.’ In emotional scenes, Linda told officers she didn’t come forwards at first as she didn’t think she would believe, as the police had previously failed to act when she reported her rape at Dean’s hands almost ten years ago.
