Dramatic footage shows a vehicle engulfed in flames on the A9.
Emergency crews were alerted to the incident at around 9pm on Friday, February 23 on the busy road near Perth.
The A9 was closed for 45 minutes while the fire was extinguished and police confirmed there were no reported injuries.
It is unclear what started the fire.
A video taken at the scene shows a car slowly driving by as flames ripped through the vehicle.
It comes after a car fire on the M80, near Glasgow, caused delays for drivers on Friday morning.
Emergency services raced to the M80 between Provan and Robroyston after the alarm was raised at around 7.30am.
The fire was extinguished and no injuries were reported. Large plumes of smoke affected other drivers' vision on the road and caused hour-long delays.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were called around 9pm on Friday, 23 February, 2024, to a report of a car on fire on the A9, Southbound near Perth.
"Emergency services attended, and the blaze was extinguished. There were no reported injuries.
"The road was closed for around 45 minutes."
