Dimitar Berbatov thinks that Manchester United should seriously consider a move for Karim Benzema in the January transfer window. Real Madrid great Benzema is one of those who could potentially be available, with reports suggesting he is considering his future at Al-Ittihad Saudi Club after joining them last year.
At the age of 36, Benzema might not be the same player he once was, but Berbatov believes he would bring a level of experience and goal-scoring threat that would still improve the United squad.

"I've seen that Man United may be in the picture for Benzema as well," Betfair ambassador Berbatov said. "Someone has told me that maybe they'll try to see what the situation is. I think Benzema will be an interesting addition to any team. He brings a team goals.
"Let's see what Man United do in January, but why shouldn't Man United sign him? He brings experience and goals. He's been at Real Madrid before so maybe he's talking to Raphael Varane right now. Asking how training is, how Ten Hag is and what Manchester is like.
