The family of a missing Scot have made an emotional plea for help with their ongoing search ten days after his disappearance.
Cops are still frantically searching for missing Dean Conner, who went vanished around 5pm on Friday, 31 December, 2021.
The 37-year-old was last seen in the Links Avenue area of Musselburgh walking towards the Promenade area of the town.
Extensive searches have been carried out, with cops and sniffer dogs scouring Musselburgh beach.
But there is still no sign of Dean and his desperate family are once again appealing for help over a week on from his disappearance.
Dean's step-dad Gary Finnie took to social media on Sunday, January 9, confirming they are 'no further forward on the search for Dean'.
He said: "Day ten and no contact, no sightings, no movement in any way!
"We have managed to search most parts of the surrounding area and gladly with no success so we still have hope.
"I want to thank everyone for their support and messages of concern and sympathy.
"I especially want to thank the friends who have helped me search and gather information, start social media pages and sort out printing and distribute leaflets. We are very grateful."
Gary said the family still hopes to be reunited with Dean and asked that people check any CCTV or doorbell cameras they have access to.
He continued: "Although this has now been ten days we still have hope that Dean will be returned to us alive and well.
"We now need information gathering to be marked as a priority and info passed back in confidence to our friends or myself by direct message or call 101 quoting missing person case 2238 31st December
"I also ask that anyone with access to cctv or doorbell camera give them a courtesy check no matter where you live within
