Police are appealing for information following a horror crash in the Scottish Borders where one man tragically died.

Two women had a lucky escape after being struck by a car towing a trailer in the Angus town of Forfar.
The pair were hit by the vehicle at the junction of Arbroath Road and Montrose Road in the town at around 11.15am on Monday January 17.
Emergency services rushed to the scene following the collision.
Paramedics who assessed the women said their injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.
Locals say the junction was blocked off while officers investigated the circumstances of the incident. The road has since re-opened.
Police Scotland say enquiries into the horror collision remain ongoing at this time.
A spokesperson said: "Around 11.15am on Monday January 17 2022, police received a report of two pedestrians having been struck by a car towing a trailer in Arbroath Road at the junction with Montrose Road, Fofar.
"The two female pedestrians were assessed by ambulance staff at the scene and their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
"Police inquiries continue to establish the exact circumstances surrounding the incident."
