Former Scotland skipper Colin Hendry has told Scott Brown he should hand over the Aberdeen armband as he compared him to Robbie Savage.
The Dons leader was front and centre of the drama during the 1-1 draw with Rangers and Braveheart reckons the 36-year-old has gone too far.
Brown waved off Ryan Kent following the Rangers winger seeing red for a tackle on him and his starring role also earned an unfavourable verdict from Ally McCoist.
And now former Blackburn Rovers star and Light Blues defender Hendry has hit out at the ex-Celtic star.
Speaking to the BBC Breakfast show, he said: "That's not what captains do
"If he wants to do that, and he's done it, he did it with Morelos at Parkhead and he's done it with Ryan Kent.
"The mannerisms afterwards in relation to Morelos when he get sent off, and then when Ryan Kent got sent off.
"Billy McNeill, Paul McStay, Murdo McLeod, Tom Boyd, greatest captain at Aberdeen, Willie Miller.
"I know it's a different era but would you see them do that? Would you really honestly see them do that?
"What I'm saying is if you want to do that, I've not got a problem. There's players in the game, in the teams that I've played in, will do that.
"But take the armband off, hand it to somebody else and go and do your Robbie Savage stint."
