Debbie McGee has shared a sweet post in support of her former Strictly Come Dancing pro partner, Giovanni Pernice. Giovanni, 33, is one of Strictly's most high-profile stars, but he's recently come under fire for his apparently harsh training techniques. “I was placed with a dance partner I was extremely uncomfortable with and in the end I felt broken, I cried every day. And I really was broken, both mentally and physically, by the end.” Meanwhile, Ranvir Singh, who finished the show in fifth place, has previously opened up about her stint on the show.
The Good Morning Britain star explained that she’d once had a “meltdown” during rehearsals. But TV and radio presenter Debbie McGee, 65, who appeared on the show in 2017, very pointedly defended her ex-pro partner Giovanni as she took to Instagram.
She shared a sweet snap of the pair smiling together and wrote: "Happy memories. Giovanni and I had the best of times on Strictly." Clearly appreciating her support, Giovanni commented: "Love you … thank you," with a number of red love heart emojis. A number of her followers also voiced
