Her mother suggests she visit their hometown of Sisters, Oregon to get recharged but she chooses to stay at her job. When Esperanza’s mother dies, she returns home, although she is wary of reuniting with her two sisters, Caridad (Dávila) and Faith (Valentina Izarra), after so many years apart.

Mercury Prize have confirmed the line-up of live performers for this year’s rescheduled award ceremony.The 2022 prize had been due to be presented last month at the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith, London, but the ceremony was called off on the night (September 8) following the death of the Queen.The 2022 Mercury Prize ceremony will now take place on Tuesday (October 18), with the show set to be hosted by Lauren Laverne and broadcast on BBC TV and radio.This morning (October 13), the Mercury Prize organisers have confirmed the line-up of live performers on the night.

Naman Ramachandran San Diego’s The Old Globe has announced an extension of Aditya Chopra’s “Come Fall in Love – The DDLJ Musical” due to popular demand. The Broadway-bound production has been extended for one week and will now play through Oct. 23, 2022. Chopra’s U.S. stage musical reimagining of his immensely popular 1995 Bollywood film “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge,” commonly abbreviated to DDLJ, addresses the need for cultural unification in a divided world. Doctor Sleep‘s poor box office figures have ultimately ended Mike Flanagan’s hopes of releasing a second film based on The Shining, according to the director.Reports of a follow-up movie were reported back in November 2019, barely a week after the release of Doctor Sleep.The film was set to focus on the character of Dick Hallorann, played by Scatman Crothers in Stanley Kubrick’s 1980 Stephen King adaptation of The Shining, and Carl Lumbly in Doctor Sleep.“We were so close,” Flanagan tweeted. “I’ll always regret this didn’t happen.”In the comments section, Flanagan added that the film was cancelled because of Doctor Sleep’s box office performance.
