K.J. Yossman David Beckham, Cate Blanchett and Dua Lipa are among those confirmed to hand out a coveted golden mask on Sunday evening. The trio are each set to present a BAFTA Film Award, although it has not been confirmed for which categories.
Joining them on stage throughout the night will be fellow presenters Adjoa Andoh of “Bridgerton” fame, Bollywood star Deepika Padukone, “Wonka” Oompa Loompa Hugh Grant and “Emily in Paris’s” Lily Collins. Other names confirmed to be presenting awards include “The Crown” stars Emma Corrin and Gillian Anderson, “Black Mirror” actor Himesh Patel and “Hijack” hearthrob Idris Elba. The Rising Star Award will be presented by former winners Emma Mackay and Jack O’Connell.
Phoebe Dynevor, Ayo Edebiri, Jacob Elordi, Mia McKenna-Bruce, and Sophie Wilde are all in the running this year. Hannah Waddingham has also been confirmed to perform a “special cover song” during the ceremony, which will be hosted by former Doctor Who David Tennant. Also appearing on the night will be Sophie Ellis Bexter, who will sing her 24-year-old track “Murder on the Dancefloor” after its renaissance thanks to Emerald Fennell’s film “Saltburn.” The BAFTA Film Awards are set to take place on Sunday night at the Royal Festival Hall in London.
They will be broadcast in the U.K. on the BBC and iPlayer and in the U.S. and other territories on streaming platform Britbox.
