Danny Welbeck had Manchester United-supporting friends and family in the stands at Old Trafford at the weekend, which he described as 'different' from his time spent at the club.
Brighton comfortably defeated United 3-1 in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon and Welbeck scored the first goal of the game in the 20th minute when finding the bottom corner after being left unmarked in the box.
Welbeck came through United's academy and he left the club in 2014 to join Arsenal, where he spent five years.

The well-taken goal was Welbeck's fourth in the league against his former club and that's the most by any player to have played for United, but speaking after his side's victory, he said it's not something he focuses on.
Welbeck spoke to My Albion TV and he briefly discussed changes to Old Trafford and having friends and family in the stands.
"There have been some changes down in the dressing room area and the corridors, but it's nice to come here with the lads and produce a big performance. It was a tough first 10 minutes for us but after that, we settled into the game," he said.
"We we calm, composed and played out from the back. The manager has instilled that confidence in us and everywhere we go we want to get the three points, whether it would be home or away, we set up well.
"If we play at our best, we can beat anyone and today was no different, we prepared really well for the game. At Watford, it was a bit of a tough period for me and it's difficult coming back from a serious injury.
