Daniella Westbrook has promised to foot the £500,000 NHS bill it will take to have corrective facial surgery after undergoing a traumatic procedure in Turkey. The former soap star, who has been open about her battle with drug addiction and osteoporosis, needed the surgical thread lift (a procedure where temporary stitches are used to produce a "lift" in the skin) to stop her face collapsing. However, Daniella revealed that even though she originally had plans to get reconstructive surgery here in the UK, a close friend persuaded her to go to Turkey, which led to a horrendous operation that was done without any anaesthesia.
"I was doing it in Liverpool with a professor there," she explained to The Sun. "I should have stayed with him but a friend convinced me to go to Turkey." "It's my own stupid fault," the 49-year-old actress admitted before vowing that she would go back to her Liverpool surgeon and pay the £500,000 bill herself.
"I'm going back to him though but I'm gonna pay for it this time," she explained. "I'd been quoted £500,000 before, I don't care what it is" Moving on to detail the horror she may face if she doesn't have the corrective surgery, Daniella, who got engaged to her partner David, 29, last year, explained that she could die.
The TV star said that if she doesn't have the surgery here in the UK then she could "suffocate to death" due to the fact her mouth could collapse. The former EastEnders star, who is a mother to two children, also opened up about how the procedure in Turkey could have killed her.

Todd Spangler NY Digital Editor Twitch is introducing Partner Plus, a program boosting the cut that streamers earn to 70% of subscription revenue — with a few conditions, however. Twitch’s new Partner Program, set to go into effect starting in October 2023, pay streamers 70% share on net subscription revenue to who meet the qualification criteria (with Twitch keeping the other 30%). The standard revenue split Twitch offers streaming partners is 50%. To qualify, Twitch Partners must maintain a sub count of at least 350 recurring paid subscriptions for three consecutive months. Streamers in the Partner Plus program will receive the 70/30 revenue share on net subscription revenue (revenue from recurring monthly subscriptions and gift subscriptions), for 12 months up to $100,000. Once a streamer earns $100,000 through Partner Plus, the revenue share will return to standard rate of 50% for most partners. The threshold resets every calendar year.
