Coronation Street star Jodie Prenger says 'I'm after your job' as she leaves soap co-star 'jealous' with move away from cobbles

Coronation Street star Jodie Prenger has joked she's after someone else's job as she enjoyed spending her time away from the cobbles with some very adorable friends. It may be no secret to fans of the actress that she is a huge animal lover.
Jodie, who joined the ITV soap last year as Glenda Shuttleworth, revealed last year that at the time she had three rescue cows, three rescue ducks, three cats and three dogs... She also said: "I also have about 17 rescue chickens including my cockerel, Harry," during a chat with the Manchester Evening News.
But earlier this year, Jodie added another dog to her family and used the opportunity to pay her own tribute to the late Paul O'Grady who sadly died around the same time. The soap star told her online followers in March that she had adopted a rescue dog and that after a call to the rescue centre, she'd decided to rename the dog in honour of the much-loved all-round entertainer.

"Well Paul, this is for you kidda," she said alongside an adorable picture of her new four-legged friend. "We picked up this little angel on Sunday. I’ve spoken to the amazing charity @silverfoxdogrescue and we will be renaming her Lily. May Paul’s dedication to loving and rehoming animals live on forever."
Back to now though and during a recent break from filming on the famous cobbles, Jodie decided to spend her time wisely and paid a trip to a dogs home where she got up close to the little rescue pups.
