Coronation Street set photos tease tense confrontation between love rivals Tyrone and Phil

New images released ahead of Coronation Street’s upcoming episodes have revealed a heated exchange between Tyrone Dobbs' love rival Phil Whittaker with the pair spotted filming an intense scene in Manchester.Tyrone, played by Alan Halsall, was seen confronting his ex-partner Fix’s new beau, Phil, played by Jamie Kenna, with the two seen arguing, before Phil is seen to clap right back. It’s currently unknown whether the argument forms part of Tyrone’s attempts to win back the love of his life Fiz Stape, played by Jennie McAlpine, or if it’s just a concerned friend taking an interest in his former partner’s wellbeing - but in recent weeks, the mechanic has been seen appearing increasingly forlorn as he watches his ex start a new life with Phil.

Meanwhile Phil looked unimpressed as he kept his head down and walked away while clad in leather brown boots, a navy jumper and a brown jacket. Waving goodbye to Weatherfield, Fiz had moved in with partner Phil, taking daughters Hope and Ruby with her, but all didn’t appear to be rosy in paradise this week, as a disastrous dinner date with one of Phil’s friends revealed her connection to former husband, murderer John Stape.
