Coronation Street star Tony Maudsley has teased fans over scenes that didn't make the 'final cut' as he was seen alongside another famous face. The actor is currently known for playing George Shuttleworth in the ITV soap.
But before Tony made a home as the undertaker on the cobbles, his acting career started in film when he landed a role in, A Life for a Life, in 1998 where he played the part of Stefan Kiszko. But fans may not know that he also bagged a major role when he appeared in Harry Potter’s fifth blockbuster installment, The Order of the Phoenix as Hagrid’s giant half-brother, Grawp.
However, he was probably best known for playing hairdresser Kenneth Du Beke in the hit ITV sitcom Benidorm, a role he played from 2011 to 2018. Now, Tony has revealed that Rylan Clark was brought in to film on the show - only it never got to air.

After a spring clear out of his wardrobe, TV and radio star Rylan sat down to relax in front of the TV. Sharing a picture from his fancy living room, boasting grey marble-inspired walls and soft green sofas, he wrote on X: "Bank holiday Benidorm… lovely."
And it prompted Tony's memory as he reshared the post on the social media platform, formerly known as Twitter, and said: "One day they'll dig out that cut scene you came and did and show it to the world!! I might start a campaign! (I bet they wouldn't cut it now!!)."
Rylan, 35, replied to the post, which featured pictures of himself, Tony and Tony's co-star Adam Gillen, who played Liam Conroy: "Haha mate I swear in my head I feel like I made it up lol xx @TonyMaudsley1."
