Coronation Street's Stephanie Davis 'heartbroken' over family loss just weeks after new arrival

Coronation Street star Stephanie Davis revealed the sad news to her fans across social media on Wednesday that she has had a "heartbreaking" loss within the family, just weeks after welcoming their new family pet pooch Hallie.
The ITV actress, who joined the cobbles as Courtney Vance earlier this summer in a heated affair storyline, took to Instagram as she shared the sad news with fans on the loss of the family's beloved dog Ronnie with a touching tribute.
"Today we lost our Ronnie," she started to type alongside a broken heart emoji. "Absolutely heartbroken. Crazy to see the photos of you with nan and grandad. All on the photo now all gone," she continued alongside another broken heart emoji.
Stephanie added: "My favourite photo is the last one with the stick [broken heart emoji]. I'm going to miss you buddy. Sandy will miss her boyfriend. Dogs aren't pets, they're your family. He was ours and always will be [broken heart emoji]. I love you Ronnie [broken heart emoji]."
She later shared a video on her Instagram stories of herself inside a local cathedral in Liverpool where she lit a candle for the four-legged pooch and "anyone else who needs prayers right now," she added.
It comes just a matter of weeks after Stephanie revealed they had extended their family as she revealed the exciting news to her son Caben they would be getting a new puppy as she filmed his reaction who was jumping for joy.
Stephanie shared an adorable photo of their new pet pooch Hallie on social media, before sharing a video clip of her son getting the news. She was heard saying to him: "Where do you think we're going?" to which he replied: "For lunch."
The 30-year-old added: "What if I told you that you can have a new puppy," as Caben gasped before
