Coronation Street star Sair Khan has made her co-stars 'excited' as she seemingly counted down to welcoming her first child into the world. The actress announced she was pregnant back in December.
Sair, who is known for playing Alya Nazir in the ITV soap, admitted she was feeling 'a real mix of emotions' as she posed up beside her partner Nathan Chilton to reveal the news of their pregnancy joy following a 'challenging time' for the couple.
The mum-to-be wrote at the time: "Hello… It’s been a little while since posting on here which has been a real mix of emotions. With all that is happening in the world, it didn’t feel like the right time to share but we also know it’s okay to keep hope and pray for peace whilst acknowledging that we feel blessed and grateful."

She continued: "Last year was a challenging time for us both with Nathan’s chondroblastoma surgery on his pelvis. It’s been a long road to recovery and still has many obstacles ahead as we deal with the spread of the tumour to his lungs. Life can be difficult and there’ll always be challenges to face but there are also important lessons to be learnt and gifts to be cherished."
Sair then later asked her fans and followers to 'wish us luck' as she revealed she and Nathan had a bit of a task on their hands as they moved home ahead of their baby's arrival as they described planned renovations on the property their "biggest project of our lives".
But amidst working on Corrie and getting her home ready for her bundle of joy, Sair has been celebrating and recently gathered her nearest and dearest to celebrate
