Coronation Street star Channique Sterling-Brown dazzled as she made an emotional move away from the cobbles. The actress was supported by her co-star as she took part in a BAFTA masterclass on Tuesday night (March 26).
Channique joined the ITV soap in September 2022 as Dee-Dee Bailey, the daughter of Ed and Aggie who arrived on the street three years earlier with brothers Michael and James.
She has been a hit with loyal viewers of the long-running show and they've recently seen the on-screen solicitor take on her latest case with Roy Cropper while also dealing with heartbreak after Joel Deering's secret was revealed.

As she posed for a selfie, with her gorgeous dark locks styled into classic curls, Channqiue wrote on her Instagram Story: "@harriotsglam slayed the face. @houseofhiaruk slayed the hurrr."
She then offered an update on what she'd been up to and as she posed on the stage in front of a screen which featured her name alongside the likes of Emmerdale legend Jeff Hordley and EastEnders star Scott Maslen, as well as host, writer and This Morning star Sharon Marshall, Channique said: "Wonderful evening getting to share at tonight's @bafta masterclass. Thank you for having me!"
And the importance of the evening didn't pass
