Coronation Street fans were left saying 'thank you' to soap bosses for a moment during the latest trip to Weatherfield. Daniel Osbourne found himself calling on Adam Barlow for help as he was quizzed over the disappearance on Lauren Bolton.
The teen hasn't been seen in the ITV soap in weeks as she seemingly abruptly left the cobbles after mentioning leaving to Roy Cropper after he sacked her from the cafe. It was Lauren's love interest Bobby who found her flat unlocked, with Lauren nowhere to be seen and has been doing his own investigation into her disappearance after he filed a report with the police.
Despite Bobby previously expressing his concern about Lauren with the police, they are only now heavily involved in the case after Sean Tully looked around her former flat to possibly rent it, after the landlord took it back off of Evelyn Plummer for her sub-letting, only to find blood on the curtains.

During Wednesday night's (March 13) trip to Weatherfield, Corrie fans were made aware that Bobby and Max had spent the night watching the police coming and going from Lauren’s flat. When Bethany Platt and Daniel Osbourne called round at No.8 to ask about Lauren, Max quizzed Daniel about his tutor sessions.
Realising the dates don’t stack up, Max eyed Daniel with suspicion. Later when he went to the station to tell Swain about Lauren’s O-Vidz account, which they already discovered via Ryan Connor, Max decided to share his thought on Daniel which later led to PC Craig Tinker heading to his flat to take him to the station for questioning.
