Coronation Street fans predict wedding bells for new 'couple' as they say it 'needs to happen'

Coronation Street fans have predicted - or are at least are hoping - for wedding bells for two of the show's best-loved characters.
Viewers of the ITV soap have been left longing for more than friendship between Roy Cropper and Evelyn Plummer, especially now they're new housemates.
Evelyn has found herself cast out of the home she was sharing with her grandson Tyrone Dobbs and his family after the arrival of her daughter Cassie Plummer. Unbeknownst to Tyrone, his biological mother was still alive despite his grandmother telling him previously that she was dead after they first met a number of years ago.
But the truth has recently come spilling out after Cassie tracked her mum down before suffering a drug overdose, leaving Evelyn coming to her rescue and taking her away in a bid to get her clean. Last month, once back close to the street and living in a flat above the precinct, Cassie took the opportunity to introduce herself to her son once and for all.

Following another overdose, Cassie is back staying with Tyrone and his daughters Hope and Ruby at his request. With Evelyn refusing to stay under the same roof, she ended up staying at the precinct flat but had been complaining about it being cold. And it was Roy's idea that Evelyn to move in with him while Lauren Bolton - who was also looking for a place to stay - took on the precinct flat.
But it's proving not to be harmonious between the pair, starting with Evelyn being left unimpressed that she had been woken at an early hour by Roy listening to the Shipping Forecast. She then issued orders for Roy to get some shopping before some words from Tyrone left her taking on the
