Coronation Street viewers couldn’t hide their amusement during Monday night’s visit to the cobbles, after a filming blunder saw Jack Webster (played by Kyran Bowes), push baby Alfie’s pram along the street’s famous cobbles with a very distracting soundtrack. The youngster was spotted pushing a red buggy across the street in several shots, while Alfie’s mum Abi Webster (Sally Carman) and Wendy Crozier (Roberta Kerr) walked behind him deep in conversation.
However as Jack wheeled the buggy across the cobbles, viewers at home were left distracted by the sound of the rattling pushchair, as they were tickled pink by what it meant for the poor fictional child that was supposed to be resting inside. Taking to Twitter to share their amusement, one fan wrote: "Jack rattling that pram down the cobbles just cracked me up.
Poor A-a-a-l-l-l-l-l-f-f-f-f-fie!” Another fan then likened it to “a ride on Blackpool Pleasure Beach”, as the ominous sound distracted them from the scene at hand. A third person then wrote: "Wow, Jack pushing Alfie in the pram across the cobbles - shaken baby syndrome or what!." "Baby Alfie’s pram across the cobbles just then!," a fourth added While a fifth, cheekily commented: ”Jack just casually given baby Alfie whiplash with the cobbles.” The gaffe came just days after Corrie fans were left flabbergasted by the news that Jack was celebrating his final day in primary school last week, with many fans believing he looked far older.
