There were emotional scenes in Coronation Street last week when Jack Webster welcomed step-mum Abi Webster back home alongside his dad Kevin. It had been a long time coming for the family, with Abi and Kevin rekindling their marriage after her drug binge led to her giving birth to Imran Habeeb's baby.
As Abi excitedly packed her bags to move back in with baby Alfie after being helped by Wendy Crozier to get her son back, Kevin let his stress get the better of him and smashed up customer Stephen Reid's car. The mechanic lost it after Jack told him he didn't want Abi to come back while he desperately made everything perfect for a visit from the social worker.
He then headed to work but distracted, he let newbie Aaron work on Stephen's car. He then came to collect it before Kevin got a chance to give it a test drive and soon a furious Stephen was phoning him as he had broken down not far from the street. Kevin then lashed out and soon feared he'd face the consequences of being charged and jeopardise things for Abi.

However, it was the youngster who put things right in the end as he got Abi to read his emotional school speech about them being a family.
After an emotional hug with Kevin and Jack, Abi got settled back into Weatherfield life and during Monday night's trip to the cobbles (August 1), Corrie fans saw Jack get into the swing of being a big brother.
