The shirt worn by Colin Firth in the TV series adaptation of Pride And Prejudice is up for auction. The shirt, which became famous when Mr Darcy, played by Firth, emerged from a lake in it, is expected to fetch between £7,000 and £10,000.
Cosprop, a costume house, and Kerry Taylor Auctions announced the auction of the shirt along with over 60 other costumes from film and TV.
Firth portrayed Fitzwilliam Darcy in the 1995 BBC adaptation of Jane Austen's novel, alongside Jennifer Ehle, who played Elizabeth Bennet.

This iconic moment has been referenced in the Netflix series Bridgerton and in Bridget Jones's Diary, where Firth also plays a character named Mr Darcy.
Also up for auction is a Renaissance-style gown worn by American actress Drew Barrymore in Ever After: A Cinderella Story. The costume, which includes wings, is expected to sell for between £1,000 and £1,500. Prince Henry's clothes from the same film are also being sold, with a guide price of £600 to £1,000.
Oscar-winning costume designer Jenny Beavan has created some of the items up for sale. These include Helena Bonham Carter's 1900s-style ivory silk dress from the 1985 film A Room With A View, and costumes worn by Heath Ledger and Sienna Miller in the 2004 historical movie Casanova.
The most expensive items are a vintage 1950s' Christian Dior taffeta ball gown, worn by Madonna in the 1996 film Evita, which could sell for between £40,000 and £60,000, and Johnny Depp's costume from Sleepy Hollow that could go for between £20,000 and £30,000.
