Coleen Rooney finally breaks silence on Rebekah Vardy 'Wagatha Christie' case telling how she came up with famous note

Coleen Rooney has finally spoken out about her 'Wgatha Christine' scandal, including telling how she came up with her now-famous social media post. The 37-year-old left social media in a frenzy back in 2019 when she accused Rebekah Vardy of leaking information about her private life to The Sun.
Coleen claimed at the time that she had been planting fake stories on a private Instagram account and only allowed access to her fellow WAG in order to determine if she was in fact the source of the leak. After the stories fake stories were published, she took to social media to publicly reveal Rebekah was indeed the source of the leak.
In a post on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook, she wrote a lengthy message at the time which ended with: "I have saved and screenshotted all the original stories which clearly show just one person has viewed them. It’s ……… Rebekah Vardy’s account."

Rebekah denied Coleen's claims and went on to sue her for libel. But Coleen defended the claim on the basis of her post which outed Rebekah as being "substantially true".
And after an intensely publicised, week-long trial at London’s High Court, the judge eventually ruled in Coleen's favour and dismissed the claim against her on July 29. Justice Steyn said it was "likely" that Rebekha's agent at the time, Caroline Watt, "undertook the direct act" of passing the information to The Sun.
