A new three-part series exploring Coleen Rooney's legal battle last summer is set to drop on Disney+.
She accidentally created a viral pop culture moment when she accused Rebekah Vardy, wife of Leicester striker Jamie Vardy, of leaking stories about her to the press. In 2019, Rooney made a social media post telling of how she posted fabricated Instagram stories which later were covered by the media, revealing the 'leaker' with the iconic line: "‘It’s......Rebekah Vardy’s account".
Now Coleen Rooney: The Real Wagatha Story will delve into how the mother-of-four became an amateur online sleuth, with exclusive access and interviews with Rooney, her family and friends. In a high court case that gripped the nation, Vardy publicly sued Rooney for libel last year over allegations Vardy had leaked private stories about Rooney to the media.

As well as the case itself, it will explore how Coleen has had her life played out in public for the last 20 years, especially surrounding her relationship with one of the most famous footballers in England's history, Wayne Rooney.
