Speaking of the new campaign, Pete said: "I'm delighted to be teaming up with Beyond Meat to inspire more people to put plant-based meat on their BBQ this summer.Their burgers sizzle on the grill and taste amazing.

"It's as easy to cook as animal meat, and is much better for the planet. Beyond Meat makes it incredibly easy to live a flexitarian lifestyle, something which myself and my family are a huge believer in." This comes after Pete took to Instagram to address the "chipolata-gate", saying he has had to endure years of jokes.

"Fifteen years this has been going on, and I kept quiet and didn't say anything, and I let everyone have their laugh and say what they wanted to say," he said. "Now, she [Rebekah] has gone to court and admitted that the story

Lizzie Cundy claims WAGs slide into her messages for 'WAGony aunt' advice
Lizzie Cundy may not have her own television show but it appears she's often the person WAGs turn to for advice.Following the fallout of the WAGatha Christie defamation case launched by Rebekah Vardy against Coleen Rooney, Lizzie has been extremely vocal on the situation and how WAG culture has changed. The 54-year-old has explained that the WAGs often "protect each other" and she's frequently consoling the new generation over the phone.Speaking exclusively to Daily Star, the mum-of-two hinted that away from the limelight, she could run her own advice line after always looking out for others in the footballing industry.Lizzie said: "So many come to me for advice, I'm like the WAGony aunt."You know, football's been in my world since I was 20, it's the only thing anyone understands in the football world,, you're in a football bubble, you protect each other."The footballer's wives, I've always tried to do my best and the footballers to protect."She continued: "It is a funny world that not many understand unless you're in it, it's very intense."You've got the fans and the groupies – the other footballers used to have to watch their seats because they'd go to the loo and another girl might sit in the seat by the time they went – that's how mad it is."We all know about the girls that sort of, set out on where they are at away games, they'll dress up to the nines sitting at the bar waiting for them."They're like bees and a honey pot, they're the rock and roll stars, they have huge wages and the fans, some fans, a minority, behave terribly."There are a few ones [WAGs that don't behave] but I'm old school.

Rebekah Vardy's future 'in tatters' after Wagatha Christie trial as brand is 'tarnished'
Rebekah Vardy 's future is “in tatters” following the Wagatha Christie trial, after she went head-to-head with Coleen Rooney.Rebekah is accused alongside her agent Caroline Watt of leaking stories about Coleen and other high-profile names in her circle. After Coleen launched her own detective work to uncover the leak, Rebekah launched legal action, claiming she suffered "very serious harm to her reputation" as a result of Coleen’s accusations. Now PR guru Nick Ede has claimed her career is “ruined” after her performance in court, claiming she is “totally unrelatable”.He said to The Express: “She’s come across as a nasty person who cannot be trusted… her brand is very badly tarnished and she’s totally unrelatable."Nick said he believes Rebekah “shot herself in the foot” by bringing the case to court, which he said has caused a lot of “personal heartache”.He predicted she would try to “think of ways to reinvent herself,” and said she might even take part in a future series of Big Brother in an effort to show the public a “more likeable side”.The PR agent also claims her behaviour in the past will make it difficult for her to become as successful as she was before, after appearing on hit reality shows including I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! and Dancing On Ice.“But the truth is, it’s going to be very difficult for her to claw back because of how badly she’s come across,” he told Closer magazine. In court documents released after the final day of the trial, Rebekah claimed she had lost work due to the accusation that she had leaked stories about Coleen to the tabloids, revealing she had missed out on a book deal as well as a brand endorsement deal. She was also labelled a "highly unreliable witness” by Coleen's lawyer on

Rebekah Vardy's future 'in tatters' after ‘complete disaster’ Wagatha trial, claims PR
Express.co.uk has contacted Rebekah's representative for comment. The PR agent claims her behaviour in the past will make it difficult for her to become as successful as she was before, after appearing on hit reality shows including I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! and Dancing On Ice.“But the truth is, it’s going to be very difficult for her to claw back because of how badly she’s come across,” he surmised to Closer magazine. In court documents released after the final day of the trial, Rebekah claimed she had lost work due to the accusation that she had leaked stories about Coleen to the tabloids, revealing she had missed out on a book deal as well as a brand endorsement deal. She was also labelled a "highly unreliable witness",  by Coleen's lawyer on the final day of the libel trial.David Sherborne, representing Coleen, claimed Rebekah lied under oath and deleted evidence. He said she had given "implausible, throwaway explanations" and was "lacking in candour"."We say Mrs Vardy was a highly unreliable witness and her evidence should be treated with caution," he continued.Mr Sherborne added that the case was "extraordinary" because of the "tenacity" of Rebekah in "backtracking on her admissions of leaks" and the "documentary evidence that flatly contradicts" her account. He also spoke about "the extent to which it plainly demonstrates her consistent practice of secretly leaking information to the press".The lawyer told Mrs Justice Steyn that the loss of "crucial" documents by Mrs Vardy was deliberate, adding: "The only plausible explanation is manual deletion by the claimant herself."Rebekah walked out of the court during Mr Sherborne's comments.Coleen and her husband, ex-footballer Wayne Rooney, did not attend the court

"It’s not gossip, not hearsay, not the name-calling, it’s evidence.”Nicola, 40, rushed to defend Rebekah and accused Lizzie of not even having a relationship with Coleen.Nicola blasted: “I’d like to know when the last time Lizzie actually spoke to Coleen, coz Coleen’s taken Lizzie off her private Instagram they no longer follow each other.“Do you know that Coleen’s tried to settle it through the horse's mouth or just what you’re reading like everyone else?”Lizzie interrupted saying Coleen was invited to one of her upcoming parties and accused the former I’m a Celebrity...

Rebekah Vardy’s ex-husband has spoken out about the infamous interview in which she referred to Peter Andre’s ‘chipolata’, and denies having any involvement.  During her tense High Court libel battle with Coleen Rooney this month, Vardy was quizzed about a newspaper interview she once gave to the News of the World about her alleged sexual encounter with Andre. In the interview, Vardy, 40, made disparaging remarks about Andre’s penis and compared it to a ‘miniature chipolata’. While giving testimony in the witness box, the former I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here star alleged: ‘I was forced into a situation by my ex-husband to do this. It is something that I deeply regret.’At the time, Vardy was in a relationship with her boss at a timeshare company, Steve Clarke, who later went on to become her second husband. However, Clarke has vehemently denied having any involvement in setting up the interview or pushing Vardy to do so. ‘Becky said to me, “Oh look, I should tell them about Peter Andre”,’ Clarke told the Mail On Sunday, recalling the moment Vardy saw a News of the World request looking for people with stories about contestants in an upcoming series of I’m A Celeb. He continued: ‘I asked her why she would want to do that and she replied that it would be a bit of money for her and it would be funny.
