"Two very good football players," Eriksen said of Casemiro and Fernandes. "For me, it is easy. For anyone, to fill in the extra gap between them, it has been easy.
"It has been good. I didn’t even know we had that many games without losing but that's something in the future that we want to keep going.
"I think this midfield is one of the best I have been part of. Obviously, earlier I was a bit further up the pitch, more of a striker than a midfielder but still dropping down.
"I think midfield-wise, it's probably one of the best I've been in. And missing Bruno tomorrow, like when I was away, someone had to pick my pieces up and tomorrow someone has to fill the gap that he leaves behind."
Eriksen's start against Forest was his first in 78 days after he recovered from an ankle injury inflicted by Reading striker Andy Carroll in the FA Cup fourth round.
Carroll did not receive a booking for the foul but was later sent off for two bookable offences. "I was surprised he didn’t get a yellow," Eriksen admitted, "but at the time I didn’t think it was as bad.
"I didn’t fear for the season, I was more concerned for when I would be back. Luckily, the medical staff has done well and I've come back
