Christian Eriksen has been compared to former Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic after signing for the club on a three-year contract. Eriksen, 30, put pen-to-paper on Friday afternoon as Erik ten Hag continues a much-needed shake up of his United squad this summer.
The United manager has welcomed Tyrell Malacia and Eriksen so far this summer, while Lisandro Martinez has now flown into Manchester to complete his £46million transfer. Martinez is well known to Ten Hag from their Ajax days and has agreed a five-year deal worth around £120,000-per-week.
Eriksen, meanwhile, represents excellent business with no transfer fee involved after his six-month stay at Premier League side Brentford came to an end. The former Tottenham playmaker signed for the Bees after he was released by Italian giants Inter Milan.

The 30-year-old caused quite a stir when he signed for Brentford and the Londoners wanted to keep him after he made such an impression upon his return from a career-threatening heart scare. Eriksen, who has been capped 115 times by Denmark, also made his mark in the Brentford changing room.
Speaking about the Dane shortly after he arrived during the January transfer window, Brentford defender Pontus Jansson said: "From the day he [Eriksen] came in, it was with an aura, not of a superstar, but of somebody who has been playing for the best teams in the world.
"I have played with players like him before, like Zlatan [Ibrahimovic] in the Sweden international team. They have something, you see that when they have the ball at their feet."
Ibrahimovic, 40, spent 18 months at Old Trafford and scored 29 goals in 53 games. He signed a new contract at AC Milan this summer.
