Celebrity Big Brother's Louis Walsh, who hasn't been shy about sharing his opinions while staying in the Big Brother house, revealed in the latest episode a cheeky question he previously asked Kate Middleton. Louis, 71, who has so far shared his thoughts on Jedward, Ronan Keating and Simon Cowell, recalled a moment where he chatted with the Princess Of Wales at the Chelsea Flower Show last year. During a chat with fellow housemate Fern Britton, Louis said: “I just want to know about Kate Middleton.
I know she’s a lovely lady.” Fern went on to say she would "love to meet" Kate, before Louis recalled breaking royal protocol to ask Kate a question. Louis said: "I [met her] last year at the Chelsea Flower Show. I asked her if she called her son [Prince Louis] after me", leaving Fern in stitches.
The former X Factor judge went on to say that Kate said "no", but that she was "charming" and a "beautiful, beautiful girl".
Fern then mentioned that she admired Kate and said she had a "heavy duty" following in Princess Diana's footsteps. Louis' comments about Meghan came just one day after he made brutal digs about Jedward - the Irish duo who he mentored back on the X Factor in 2009. After Coronation Street star Colson Smith asked him: "What were Jedward like?", Louis quickly responded: "They were vile." He added: "I got five million quid for them though, I swear on my mother's life", before adding: "They were vile.
But they were novelty and it was great for the show. It's all about the show." The comments from Louis were not well received by Jedward, who shared their thoughts on Louis on Instagram.
